Shocker: 2 Pakistani Girls Shot dead for Recording a video of themselves dancing in the rain
Two teenage sisters, 16 year old Noor Basra and 15 year old Noor Sheza (both pictured above) were shot dead at their home in the town of Chilas, in Pakistan after a video showing the two girls laughing and dancing in the rain was circulated via mobile phones.
Apparently dancing with your sibling in the rain and filming it is a crime punishable by death in the Northern region of Gilgit. The video caused an outrage in the town and a few days later, five men invaded the girls home and shot them dead - for - wait for it - 'tarnishing their family's name'. Their mother was also shot dead.
The girls' step-brother, a man named Khutore, is being accused of arranging their murder because he allegedly wanted to 'restore the family's honour'. The sisters' other brother filed a case against him and the four other alleged accomplices who are now on the run. The police are investigating the case.

A photographer who accompanied us to the cemetery described it as one of the most expensive in the world – and we couldn’t agree less. As it is, if burial sports could bring back the dead, the rich would have achieved that feat a long time ago, but since death is a price even the poor and the rich has to pay, could there have been any need for all the show, the answer lies in our individual perception!

The body, National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has unveiled her first motorcycle produced in Nigeria by a Nigerian, designed and manufactured by the National Engineering Design and Development Institute (Nnewi), a subsidiary of NASENI.
They launched the 80C engine motorcycle in Anambra state today. However the agency has told the Federal Government to ban the importation of motorcycles
The Vice Chairman of NASENI, Dr.Mohammed Haruna, said:
"About 20 million Nigerians today rely on motorcycles as a means of transport and many unemployed youths and men support their families or earn a living from running motorcycle as a commercial venture. Imagine the large number of jobs that will be created if only Nigeria could close her borders against the importation of motorcycles and allow entrepreneurs to invest in the manufacturing of the parts including production of the motorcycle locally.'''

MTN May Sign Kunle Afolayan As Ambassador, As Globacom Dropped Him For Featuring Saka In His Latest Movie
Saka was the former Etisalat ambassador who made a controversial PORT to MTN as their latest brand ambassador.
According to what we gathered, Kunle Afolayan was booted out when Globacom found out that one of the main characters in his Phone Swap movie (which was sponsored by Globacom) was Saka, an Etisalat face for many of their brands, at the time. (Before he ported to MTN )
Prior to him being dropped as an ambassador, Kunle Afolayan had a smooth relationship with the company and did not go against any terms in his contract and was really shocked at his termination.
Thing is, Kunle had been working on his movie long before he was approached to be a Glo ambassador.
Globacom sponsored the movie and when it eventually came out, Saka featured in it, that's all..
From the looks of things, MTN might want to sign Kunle. Afolayan

In an unprecedented move, the United States on Monday posted up to $23 million in rewards to help capture five leaders of militant groups which have spread terror in west Africa and Nigeria.
The highest reward of up to $7 million is offered for the leader of Nigeria's Boko Haram extremists, Abubakar Shekau, while $5 million each was posted for Al-Qaeda veteran Mokhtar Belmokhtar and Yahya Abou Al-Hammam, a top figure in Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, US officials said.
